Enhancing Access to Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Women, Girls, and Newborns in Gaza City

Ajyal Association for Creativity and Development, in cooperation with Al-Sahaba Hospital, is implementing the project “Enhancing Access to Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Women, Girls, and Newborns in Gaza City” from May to September 2026. The project aims to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable women and girls, particularly pregnant and lactating women, by providing antenatal and postnatal care, essential medicines and supplements, emergency vaginal and Caesarean deliveries, family planning, post-abortion care, and the prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections. The intervention also includes establishing a women-friendly safe space and delivering awareness and counselling sessions on maternal and newborn health, nutrition, breastfeeding, and gender-based violence prevention. In addition, the project strengthens referral pathways to specialized health, nutrition, and protection services, contributing to reduced health risks and improved access to safe, confidential, and dignified care for women and girls in Gaza City.
